This hotel is a gem. The staff are very responsive, you will find little touches that are missing in a chain hotel, the room is immaculate and smells wonderful, the view is excellent - right on the Bay and only a couple of miles from the airport, yet no airport noise! The continental breakfast is so much better than what we've come to know as a typical continental breakfast at a hotel - it included things like fresh-made waffles, for example. I honestly have never had a better night's stay and certainly will visit again!

Bay Landing was everything I could have asked for, for our anniversary trip. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. If you are searching for a great and affordable hotel in the San Fran area you simply can't do better than Bay Landing Hotel.

WE will be back for sure - and often. We used to stay at the Hyatt down the street when we visited family 5-8 times a year. Too many massive conventions at the Hyatt clogging the elevators [in one case we had to wait in the bar on Christmas eve over 45 minutes for the eleavators to clear of convention gowers - delays in bellman luggage delivery for over 40 minutes [we were only 1 of 2 luggage deliveries on that cart - , ever increasing rates, and finally the $*/day for Hyatt self parking in the on-site garage and we had had enough of Hyatt Gold. The Bayshore is smaller, god curn appeal, good beds and in-room TV, well appointed rooms and baths, and clean as the Hyatt for sure. The free and just outside the 3 story facility parking saved us at least *-$* a night they charge at teh Hyatt for our average 4-5 night stay. Do the math. There is a breakfast set up but if you don't go to Stacks, or Alanah's when you're that close to Burlingame you're missing something. The ultimate review is that we are going back in December and will now make it our new Burlingame visit home. Good by Hyatt charges, packed house "snt hill" problems even on holidays, poor service, noisy hallways, and that rip off parkling. The One Bayshore issue for us was the in-room heraters. They are fine but the maids turn them off during the fay so your room may be cold in teh winter months when you get back after a day away. That's a big deal to southern CA people like us where anything below 73 is unwelcome.
